To ease the rush of passengers during peak travel times, Indian Railways has extended the operating period of two special trains running via Ranchi. The trains—numbered 07051/07052 (Hyderabad – Raxaul – Secunderabad Special) and 07005/07006 (Charlapalli – Raxaul – Charlapalli Special)—will now operate for additional trips to accommodate the growing demand.
The Hyderabad – Raxaul Special train (Train No. 07051) will depart from Hyderabad every Saturday starting from April 5, 2025, until June 28, 2025, covering a total of 13 trips. The train will arrive at Hatia on Sunday at 8:00 PM, depart shortly after at 8:05 PM, reach Ranchi at 8:20 PM, and leave again at 8:30 PM. On its return journey, Train No. 07052 will depart from Raxaul every Tuesday from April 8 to July 1, 2025, also making 13 trips. It will arrive at Ranchi early Wednesday morning at 2:10 AM, depart at 2:20 AM, reach Hatia at 2:35 AM, and continue its journey at 2:40 AM.
For the Charlapalli – Raxaul route, Train No. 07005 will run every Monday at 10:00 PM from April 7 to June 30, 2025, with 13 scheduled trips. It will arrive in Ranchi the following Tuesday at 10:45 PM and depart at 11:00 PM. The return train, 07006, will depart from Raxaul every Thursday starting April 10 until July 3, 2025, with a total of 13 trips. This train will reach Ranchi at 8:45 PM on Thursdays, leave at 9:00 PM, and arrive at Charlapalli at 7:40 PM.
These extended services aim to provide greater convenience to passengers traveling during this busy season.
