A global dialogue focusing on Jharkhand’s development potential was held at the High Commission of India in the United Kingdom. The official reception was hosted by the High Commissioner of India, Mr. Vikram Doraiswami. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended the event and interacted with policymakers, representatives, and experts from several countries. The main focus of the discussions was Jharkhand’s contribution to India’s overall development. Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that Jharkhand is moving steadily on the path of progress. He shared information about the state’s economic growth, industrial opportunities, natural resources, and strong human resources. He added that Jharkhand is rich in mineral resources and that its youth have an important role to play in the development of both the state and the country. The Chief Minister also spoke about Jharkhand’s rich cultural and tribal heritage, which gives the state a unique identity. He said that the state government is working to ensure balanced development while also protecting and preserving its cultural heritage. During the dialogue, special discussions were held on heritage conservation and cultural cooperation with the United Kingdom. Positive talks also took place on possible collaboration in higher education, skill development, sports, critical minerals, and other key sectors. The Chief Minister said that international cooperation in these areas can create better global opportunities for education, training, and employment for the youth of Jharkhand.
