Ranchi, March 26: Crime is on the rise in Ranchi after a BJP leader was shot and killed in Kanke. Anil Tiger, the General Secretary of Ranchi District Rural BJP, was killed on Wednesday afternoon at around 3:45 PM. A criminal on a motorcycle shot Anil Tiger in the head while he was sitting at Hotel. The sound of the gunshot caused panic among the local people.
Kanke police quickly arrived at the scene and rushed Anil Tiger to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead. The police questioned nearby people, but no one was willing to share any information about the shooter.
Ranchi police took swift action and arrested one criminal involved in the murder at Kanke Chowk. The shooter was captured in the Pithoria area.
