Four Children Burnt Alive in Chaibasa, After Fire Breaks Out While Playing

West Singhbhum: A tragic accident occurred on Monday morning in Geetilipi village, located in the Jagannathpur police station area of West Singhbhum district (Chaibasa), Jharkhand. Four young children playing in a straw field lost their lives after a sudden fire broke out, engulfing them in flames.

According to eyewitnesses, the children were playing near a straw pile when, without warning, a fire started and quickly spread, trapping them. The victims were identified as Prince Chatar, the five-year-old son of Arjun Chatar; Sahil Sinku, the five-year-old son of Chandramohan Sinku; Rohit Sundi, the two-year-old son of Sukhram Sundi; and five-year-old Bhumika Sundi. All four children died in the fire.

Upon receiving the news, local police rushed to the scene and began the difficult task of retrieving the bodies. However, the exact cause of the fire remains unclear at this time, and authorities are still investigating the incident.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashutosh Shekhar confirmed that all the victims were minors and assured that a thorough investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire. The police are working to gather more details and piece together the events that led to the tragic loss of the young lives.
