Jorhat – Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Assam on Friday night for a three-day visit. During his stay, he will attend several programs in the Northeast.
On Saturday, Shah will inaugurate the Lachit Barphukan Police Academy in Dergaon, built by the Assam government. After this, he will head to Mizoram for further government events and return to Guwahati at night.
On Sunday, Shah will visit Kokrajhar to attend the annual convention of the All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) in Dotma. He will return to Guwahati in the evening to meet with all the Chief Ministers of Northeast states at the Radisson Blu Hotel before departing for Delhi at night.
