Rain in Jharkhand, chances of thunderstorm in some areas

Ranchi: Since the morning of 9 December, it has been raining in many areas of Jharkhand including the capital Ranchi. This change in the weather has happened due to the area of ​​​​cyclonic winds formed in the Bay of Bengal, due to which light rain is occurring in many areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain bad tomorrow as well, fog and mist are likely to prevail. There is a possibility of a drop in temperature, due to which it will feel colder than normal.

Chances of thunderstorm in some districts
The Ranchi Meteorological Center has predicted rain in most parts of the state except northwestern Jharkhand. There is also a possibility of thunderstorm in Garhwa, Latehar, Palamu and Chatra, for which a yellow alert has been issued.

In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature in Jharkhand fell by 3 degrees to 9.8 degrees Celsius, which is below normal. The Meteorological Department has said that light rain will continue due to the western disturbance and the system formed in the Bay of Bengal. Due to this, the sky will remain cloudy throughout the day, which will increase the cold further.

Fog likely on Tuesday
The Meteorological Department has also warned that on Tuesday i.e. 10 December, it will be cloudy most of the day, the maximum temperature will be around 25 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 12 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of light fog in the morning, but the weather will be clear by December 11.
