Ranchi: The Ranchi police have arrested Prem Pandey, the shooter involved in the attack on coal trader Bipin Mishra, from Delhi. Based on his information, the pistol used in the shooting has been recovered from the BIT OP area. However, one of the shooters and the person who was driving the bike during the attack are still on the run.
In addition, the police have arrested the person who provided the bike and weapons to the attackers. According to reports, one of the six SIT teams involved in the investigation, with assistance from Delhi police, made the arrest. However, the Ranchi police have not officially confirmed the arrest of any other shooters or the person who aided them.
The attack on Bipin Mishra took place on March 7 when he was turning his car towards Booti Mor near Bariatu Girls School. At that moment, two men working for Aman Sahu opened fire on him, while a third person stood by with a bike. Police investigations revealed that the attackers fled through a narrow street towards Booti Mor via DIG Ground and Kokar.
