President of India Droupadi Murmu will visit Jamshedpur on February 26. During her visit, she will perform the Bhoomi Pujan and lay the foundation stone for the Shri Jagannath Temple and the Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Education Center. This information was shared by S. K. Behera, trustee of the Shri Jagannath Spiritual and Cultural Charitable Center Trust. He said that the temple and education center will be built near Marine Drive in Jamshedpur. According to him, this project will not be only a religious place. It will also work as a spiritual and cultural education center where students and the younger generation can learn about values, culture, and spirituality.

S. K. Behera informed that the spiritual and cultural education center will be constructed first. After that, a grand Shri Jagannath Temple will be built on about 2.5 acres of land using stone. The temple will have beautiful architecture and artwork, which will attract visitors and help promote religious tourism in Jharkhand. He also said that the land for this project was allotted when Droupadi Murmu was serving as the Governor of Jharkhand. The construction of the temple is expected to take around four years. During the Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone ceremony, President Droupadi Murmu will address the gathering. Many dignitaries, including Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar, will attend the event. It is important to note that this will be President Droupadi Murmu’s second visit to Jamshedpur after becoming President. Earlier, she had visited Karandih to attend the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of the Santhali Ol Chiki script.
