Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant Kumar, officially joined the JDU on Sunday. He was warmly welcomed by party leaders and workers at a ceremony held at the party headquarters in Patna. Several senior leaders, including Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh and JDU National Executive President Sanjay Jha, were present on the occasion.

After joining the party, Nishant Kumar stated that his primary goal would be to strengthen the organization and work with party workers to advance it. He stated that he would always receive guidance from his father, Nitish Kumar, and work in that direction. Nishant, an engineering graduate, also stated that his father’s decision to become a Rajya Sabha member was entirely his personal decision, and everyone, including his family, respects it. Praising his father’s political contributions, Nishant Kumar said that Nitish Kumar, Bihar’s longest-serving Chief Minister, has done a lot for the state’s development over the past two decades. He said that the people of Bihar will never forget his contribution to the state’s development. Nishant also said that he would strive to advance the party’s principles and the politics of development. Party workers were enthusiastic when he arrived at the JDU office. A large number of workers gathered outside the office, waving party flags and welcoming Nishant Kumar with drums and cymbals. Many also garlanded him and wished him well. Party leaders say that Nishant Kumar’s joining will inject new energy into the organization.

Nitish Kumar’s ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ third phase begins March 10, with inspections and inaugurations in 10 districts

Meanwhile, the third phase of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ is scheduled to begin March 10. This phase will begin in Supaul and Madhepura districts and continue until March 14. During this period, the Chief Minister will visit 10 districts across the state. During the tour, he will inspect several development schemes and inaugurate new projects. On Sunday, the Cabinet Secretariat Department released the detailed schedule of this tour. According to the released itinerary, the Chief Minister will visit Araria and Kishanganj on March 11th. After the programs, he will return to Madhepura and spend the night there. On March 12th, he will visit Purnia and Katihar. The following day, on March 13th, the Chief Minister will visit Saharsa and Khagaria. On March 14th, the last day of the Samriddhi Yatra, the Chief Minister will return to Patna after participating in programs in Begusarai and Sheikhpura. Through this tour, the government will review the progress of ongoing development projects in various districts and also communicate directly with the public.
