Four persons involved in cyber crime were arrested in an operation led by Cyber Thana in Jamtara district. Superintendent of Police Animesh Naithani gave detailed information during a press conference held at the police headquarters. According to SP Naithani, the police had received secret information that cyber crimes were being committed from these villages. Acting on this information, a team led by Inspector Abdul Rehman of Cyber Thana conducted a raid. As a result, Deepu Kumar Mandal and Vicky Kumar Mandal from Ratnodih village and Jagesh Mandal and Bicky Kumar Mandal from Siyatand village were arrested. The arrested persons were allegedly involved in committing fraud by posing as bank officials, electricity department personnel, gas agency representatives, among others. He also mentioned that from these four criminals, 15 mobile phones and 18 SIM cards were recovered.
