CM announces key development initiatives and welfare measures

At Gandhi Maidan in Jamshedpur today, Chief Minister Shri Champai Soren unveiled a series of transformational measures aimed at boosting development and welfare in Jharkhand. Addressing a gathering, the Chief Minister outlined a comprehensive agenda designed to uplift various sections of society.

Shri Champai Soren announced that all women between the ages of 25 and 50 will receive financial assistance from the State Government. In addition, the Government will waive loans of farmers up to Rs 2 lakh to mitigate agrarian distress.

The Chief Minister announced that every electricity consumer in the State will receive 200 units of electricity free of cost. This initiative is part of a comprehensive strategy to reduce the financial burden on families.

Emphasizing on job creation, Shri Champai Soren vowed that about 40,000 youths will get government employment in the next three months. This ambitious effort aims to boost economic growth and provide sustainable livelihoods.

The Chief Minister inaugurated 182 development schemes costing Rs 152 crore 76 lakh 71 thousand, which underlines the government’s proactiveness towards infrastructure and community development. Also, assets worth Rs 68 crore 96 lakh 67 thousand were distributed among 3 lakh 41 thousand 759 beneficiaries, which symbolizes commitment towards inclusive development. In his address, Shri Champai Soren reaffirmed the government’s commitment to advance the welfare of all citizens including tribals, Dalits, farmers, laborers, minorities, backward classes, Divyaang, women and youth. Looking at the future, the Chief Minister outlined a plan to reserve 75% of the jobs in private establishments within the state for locals, which aims to boost employment opportunities for residents. In addition, to strengthen education, Shri Champai Soren announced initiatives to start teaching tribal and regional languages ​​in government schools, as well as increased scholarship programs and educational loans through the Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme.
