In a concerted effort to strengthen law and order across the state, Chief Minister Champai Soren chaired an important meeting at the Jharkhand Mantralaya, focusing on a comprehensive review of the existing security scenario. Several important issues, including forest and land revenue management, were discussed in the meeting, as well as strategies to tackle crime, curb illegal drug and liquor smuggling.
The meeting, held in the presence of top officials, including Director General of Police Ajay Kumar Singh, Deputy Commissioners of all districts, Senior Superintendents of Police, Superintendents of Police and several other dignitaries, underscored the government’s unwavering commitment to maintaining public safety and security.
The key directions given by Chief Minister Soren to the police officials include:
▪️ Strict action on incidents of snatching, theft, robbery and dacoity, with emphasis on strengthening patrolling mechanism and maintaining constant vigil in urban areas.
▪️ The supreme objective of the state government is to promote law enforcement, and there will be zero tolerance towards any lapse in crime control measures.
▪️ Ensuring targeted identification and prosecution of mafia syndicates and professional criminals, ensuring meticulous legal action to instill fear and deterrence in their ranks.
