Mumbai: Renowned musician and singer AR Rahman’s health took a sudden downturn on Sunday when he experienced chest pain. Following the incident, Rahman was immediately admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai for treatment. Currently, a team of doctors is closely monitoring his condition, although no official statement has been released by his family or team.
Reports indicate that Rahman felt unwell after returning to Chennai from a trip abroad. His discomfort led to his hospitalization last night. Sources suggest that Rahman underwent angiography as part of his treatment. The musician was reportedly admitted due to dehydration, which was exacerbated by fasting during Ramadan. Doctors are currently overseeing his treatment, and his health is said to be improving.
Fans of the music legend have flooded social media with messages of support and prayers for his speedy recovery.
It is also worth noting that just a few days ago, Rahman’s ex-wife, Saira, was hospitalized due to a medical emergency. After undergoing surgery, Saira expressed gratitude to Rahman for his support during the difficult time.
